Christmas bells are ringing, it’s the beginning
of May 2008 and Mary Lou Weidman is back bearing gifts of joy,
so let’s REJOICE! This is her 3rd Annual event
with us and she is going to help us create a Christmas Heirloom.
Santa will visit through out the retreat with surprises and special
events. He will organize an Ornament exchange and may leave a
recipe booklet, or surprise us with Christmas snacks.
I
do know that he will feed us very well, offer us a great classroom
and give us wonderful sleeping accommodation at the beautiful
newly remodeled Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ventura, California on the
ocean. Santa may arrive via sailboat rather than sleigh, but no
one knows for sure so keep your eyes open. I do know that Santa
will be giving away fun and exciting Christmas presents. In the
mornings you may take a dip in the pool or the blue Pacific Ocean
or walk/run on the ocean walk which goes for miles in either direction.
Our Christmas Dinner will be in C Street Café where the
food is fantastic.
